Task

As an IT Consultant: Platform Engineering, you will advise our clients on internal development platforms and/or drive the implementation forward. In close collaboration with the client’s IT teams, you will evaluate, integrate, and operate suitable components. Platform Engineering focuses on providing services that support software development teams in their work. This includes, for example, CI infrastructure or a pre-configured observability stack ready for use. Your strategic and technical skills are sought after to successfully tackle this challenging and complex task.

Profile

• Proficiency in German and English at C1 level
• Independent work style
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Expressive communication
• Experience in the design and operation of cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP) or on-premise environments (VMware, OpenStack)
• Kubernetes from an operational perspective (AKS, EKS, GKE, Giant Swarm, OpenShift, or Rancher)
• Terraform
• Unix shell
• GitLab and GitLab-CI (or GitHub Actions)
• Good understanding of security and network concepts
• Python or a comparable programming language
